My mixed breed terrier has been on this food for 5 years now. I was so glad to find it as it was the last step before a prescription diet for his very sensitive digestive system. Even though he has technically aged out of it, I’m not changing a thing.

I was transitioning my puppies out of puppy food. They weren’t liking anything I was giving them. They loved RC Mini Special 30. It got a high amount of protein, which is important for mini dachshunds. If they gain weight, they will most likely have spine and hip injuries.

Dogs should not eat cat food, but it doesn’t hurt cats to eat dog food. My cats love this, it is like junk food for them! HOWEVER, I bought it for the dog, and it is FAR too expensive to feed to 6 cats! My little dog, a 5# Mi-Ki eats this exclusively and Mi-Kis are snackers, so I have to leave some out all the time and battle the cats to stay out of it. Actually, it smells so good, I have been tempted to try some, lol.

My dog is a pretty picky eater, but since I bought this food she seems to clean her bowl, but she stil needs help – I top her food w/a little chicken meat from my leftovers and in a few mins. the bowl is licked clean, and her coat is silky and healthier looking too!
